This site is run by me, Jagadeesh Jayachandran, as an individual. This page explains what personal data I collect, why I collect it, how long I keep it, and how you can unsubscribe or have your data deleted.

What data I collect

I only collect what you type into a form on this site. Nothing more.

  • Cohort waitlist form — your email address.
  • Contact form — your name, email address, and optionally your role, company and the message you write.
  • Newsletter signup — your email address, handed directly to my newsletter provider through their embedded form.

I do not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and I do not build a profile of your browsing. Some pages embed third-party content — a newsletter signup form, web fonts and an icon library — and those providers may see your IP address and browser details as a normal part of serving that content.

Why I collect it

  • Waitlist email — so I can tell you when applications for the QE Architect Accelerator open, and send you the dates, the price and the joining details for that cohort. That is all I use it for.
  • Contact form details — so I can read your message and reply to it.
  • Newsletter email — so I can send you editions of the newsletter you signed up for.

The legal basis is your consent: you gave me the data by choosing to submit a form, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using the steps below.

Who else processes it

I use a small number of third-party services to run these forms. They process your data on my behalf so that I can receive and act on it:

  • FormSubmit — delivers waitlist and contact form submissions to my email inbox.
  • beehiiv — hosts the newsletter list and handles newsletter subscriptions and unsubscribes.
  • My email provider — stores the messages that arrive in my inbox.

I do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with anyone for advertising or any other purpose.

How long I keep it

I keep waitlist emails until the cohort they relate to has finished recruiting, or until you ask me to remove you — whichever comes first. Contact form messages stay in my email inbox as ordinary correspondence. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.

How to unsubscribe

  • Cohort waitlist — email me at j.jagadeesh.1989@gmail.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line, or reply to any cohort email asking to come off the list. I will remove you and stop emailing you about the cohort.
  • Newsletter — use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter edition, which takes effect immediately.

How to request deletion

Email me at j.jagadeesh.1989@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, and ask me to delete your data. I will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email once it is done. You do not have to give a reason.

You can also ask me for a copy of the data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or object to how I use it — same address, same 30 days.

Complaints

If you are in the UK and you are not happy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
